Abram was presented with a tortoise shell snuff box lined with gold by Robert Johnson of Gen. George Washington's staff./ Fought in battle of Loyalhanna. He served in the Continental Army. During the French & Indian war he was a Lt. in Capt.J.Beall's Co. from 9 Oct., 1757 to 8 Nov.,1758.

He was also a Justice of the Peace for Antrim Typ. in 1770/71.

The tortoise Shell snuff box has been handed down from first son to first son and is now with Paul Prather of Minneapolis, Minn. (1994)

Died: 15 Feb., 1818 in: Venango Co., Pa.

Thomas was a Rev. war Soldier in Pa./ He had his farm there also. He was neighbors with the McCamant family. (Venango Co.,Pa./ went there in 1800) Note: He had a son Henry who's three children all married McCamants.

Also Thomas's oldest daughter Mary remained unmarried and later lived with Ruth Antinetta (Prather) McCamant and John McCaient, in Pa.

His home was on the Allegheny River at East Hickory. His son Thomas later

built a Gristmill on the farm creek, 1800 census Venango Co., PA, Roll#43p.587

Mary had gained the right of ownership (first Claim) of some negro slaves.

There was a dispute over her right to first claim, subsequently her husband was shot to death on his own door step, in ambush, by the person who was in dispute with Mary and her husband,
