He reside d at Great Bentley,a place in Essex some ten miles from Ramsey,where his mansion house of "Edons"or"Dreybrocks"is still standing and occupied.

Found in The History of the Cass family,five generations of Marvins,starting with Rynalde(this one).as follows,Rynalde Mervyn,His will was made Dec 22 1554 .It mentions 6 children then living,and disposes among them of his landed estates,includin g "'Benettes," "Genettes",and "the Ray"in Ramsey,property in Wrabness,etc.He was undoubtedly a man of very considerable possessions.The will directs that he be buried in the church of St Michael the Archangel in Ramsey.One of his sons was Edward.T he Marvin coat of Arms is as follows, Arms.-Sable,three lions passant guardant,per pale argent and or.Crest.-Ermine, a squirrel sejant proper,cracking a nut or,a plain collar of the last charged with three torteaux. Motto,-De Dieu tout.
