    He may have also lived for a short time in Ellis Co., TX.
    He settled for a time near Orangeville, TX. and later moved to Denison,
    Grayson Co., TX. where he died.

    June 29, 1867. William Prather died about May 1861 leaving widow Elizabeth
    and Children: D.W., William M., Martin T. of Iowa, John A. and James M.
    Prather, Louiza Jane McMillion of Bradley Co.,TN., Nancy Cassady, Sarah A.
    Johns, Fatama wife of Benjamin Wells, and Mary A.E. Neil.
    Son William M. dies during the lawsuit in Sept. 1868 leaving widow Rosselvene
    and minor children James H., Maria E., and Ellen M.

    EmM. Newton a defendant. Prater and wife Elizabeth of Bradley Co.,
    Elizabeth formerly wife of John Swaffer Sr., dec'd. The Swaffers in his
    lifetime sold burriss 80 acres for their support during their lifetime, they
    both being old and decrepit, she about sixty six. This Burriss refused to do;
    she sued and comprimised by accepting $200. Newton bought land and she took
    notes. Burriss bought again from Newton. Newton refuses to give trust deed.
    Elizabeth and Thomas married 27 Aug., 1884. Jim Burriss is brother to Wash.
