It is said that Lorenzo lived alone in a log cabin and was astranged to his
family. He was said to have placed a curse on his children and their children
for 5 generations. Lorenzo died when his log cabin burned while he was asleep.

Jonathan and Archibald Prater (#6223) both joined the Rev. forces in Henry
Co., Va. at the Chesterfield Court House in 1780.
