    Notes:

    On his marriage bond it listed Sarah Little, wife of Runnels Little, as
    his mother. And it states "he having no father".
    This could mean his mother remarried after the death of his father
    or that John Prather is not his father but rather that William is listed
    under the incorrect parentage.
    Another possiblity is that John is his father but never married
    Sarah.

    His name is often spelled differently in various records Praytor/
    Prater/Prator/Prather. The spelling of Prather is the most used in his case.
    Living with his daughter, Mary, when he died.
    He is listed in the 1850 Taylor Co., KY. census.
