the study of medicine at Moore's Hill, Ind. / in 1859 he commenced practicing
medicine in Hartford,Ind./April 6,1860 moved to LaGrange,Lucas Co.,Ia.
Aug.15,1862 was surgeon Company C,34th Iowa Infantry (for 7 mo. became ill and
