Thomas went with his sister Sarah and her husband to Ft. Harrod, There he met
Anna Ashby, daughter of Capt. Stephen Ashby. Capt. Ashby had recieved a
bounty land Grant for 4,000 acres in Hopkins Co., Ky. for his services in the
Revolution. He died at Ft.Harrod before he could claim his lands. His heirs
