Notes - * Upon release as prisioners of Civil War, were given furlough / with
James Davis Faulkner(brother-in-law) and others. A kind lady cooked them
ham for supper while passing Chester Co., S.C. . Due to their weakened
condition and the former lack of food, Faulkner warned "Just chew the meat
for the juices and spit the meat out". But James T. Praytor did not heed the
warning and later died with Coloramusbus. They were soldiers of the Confed.
He was listed living Livingston, Sumter Co., Ala. in the 1860 census.
