Notes - Wiley and his brother George Washington Praytor went to Texas.
Wiley is recorded leaving Sumter Co., Ala. in an Ox drawn covered wagon to
Texas. We found him first living in Smith Co., Tx. with his brother George
and other Praters/Prathers/Praytors. Wiley later moverd to south Texas near
El Campo and Louise, Texas. His brother George remained in Smith Co., Tx.
The family has handed down the story that Wiley and George got into some kind
of trouble in Ala. and had to leave the state. Possibly had to do with the War
- Wiley and his brother George Washington Praytor went to Texas.
