  *Charles was born in Briton, Iowa and married at Tabor, Iowa. He came from Iowa to Norman, Okla. in April,1893 and made the "RUN" in the opening of the Cherokee Strip in 16 Oct.,1893 and staked out land near what became Morrison, Okla. where he and his wife lived their lives. They are buried at Morrison. (Charles died at Valley Center, Kansas)
