Fought in Wales,1277,1282,1283,(Cl.5 Edw1.m 12d:Rot Wall.10 Edw 1.m 3d).He was summoned to the Military Council at Shrewsbury,which condemned David Prince of Wales to Death,30th Sept.1283 (Ib.m 2d).He had a grant fo r a market and fair at Colston-Basset,6th April 1284(Cart .12 Edw.1.m 6).Fought in Wales,1287 (Pat.15 Edw.1.m 9),and in Scotland,1291 (Pat.21 Edw.1. 12).Forester of Cannock,28th May 1293,(Pat.21 Edw.1.m 15).He was summoned to Parliament from 2r d June 11295 till 10th April 1299,by writs directed "Radulfo Basset de Drayton"),by which he may be considered to have become Lord Basset of Drayton.He d.31st Dec.1299,and is Buried at Draytn-Basset.His widow d.shortly before 20th May 1317(Rot.Fin .10 Edw.2.m 6).
