  !I cannot understand why the family of William the Conqueror is so hard to pin down,I just found in Omerod the "The Stemme of the Earls of Chester",it starts Robert =Arlet=Herelwine,with William coming down from the 1st = and Emma from the 2nd =,but William has a wavy line,which indicates uncertainty.
