  Martha's husband was Israel Coffee. His family were very promenant in north Texas. They owned a very large ranch and were one of the first fronteer families to establish a trading post on the Red River in that area of Texas (Denison,Tx.) Their Plantation home now sets at the bottom of Lake Texhoma. There is an artical in one of the issues of Texas Highways Mag. (late 1989) which shows a photo of the home and tells a little about the family.
