  He lived in the fine Plantation Home his father built at Taccoa, Ga. The Riverside Plantation continues to this day (1991) in the Prather family. Mr. Joseph Turnbull Prather is living in the Plantation home that was built in 1804. Joseph Jeremiah Prather was a Major in the Confed. Army. (Civil War) In the 1860 census a Mary Patton was also living in his household age 24. She was prob. his wifes maid.
