      when he was killed.
      His father & brother brought his body back to Maryland and he was the first
      interment in the old Prather Cem (now on the Frank Showalter farm, west of
      Clear Spring, Washington Co., Md.)

      Thomas Claggett Prather was in Colonial Wars and was killed in the Battle
      of Loyathanna in the French and Indian War. (During an Indian ambush)
      After Thomas was killed his Wife, Margaret married Thomas Freeman, Esq.of Md.
      When Capt. Thomas, son of Margaret & Thomas C. Prather returned to Kentucky
      his mother Margaret and his Stepfather came with him.
