• Notes

  *Larkin enlisted 30 June,1862 Confederate Army at Edgefield Co.,S.C. and served under Capt. Lewis Jones. Larkin was killed at the "Battle of Atlanta" fought 22 July,1864. Emaline remarried to Henry M. Bradley but he died in 1880. She lived as widow in Vaucluse, Gregg Tw., Aiken Co., S.C. until 1890. She then came West to Texas with her son, James Preston Prater Larkin also served in Co. B & Aikens Regular Partisan Rangers, the 22nd. S.C. Volunteers
