  Richmond and his brother Benjamin and sister Paralee were living in Dayton,Columbia Co., Territory of Washington. He was taken in by his brother Benjamin. They lived in Ind.,Co.,and Wa. Richmond stated that he was abused by his uncles children, but when he was older he took boxing lessions (about 16) and gave them a "pounding". Then he left for good. He worked cattle drives for severial years then went to work for the Railroad and lived at Walla Walla,Wa.
