    • * Press built and designed houses, was tought music by members of the family,
      and went to night school in New Orleans. He drove a mule-drawn street car in
      Atlanta, packed seed for Hastings Seed Co., Atlanta, Ga. then he worked in the
      Oil fields near Beaumont, Tx., sang in the choir at First Bapt. Church in
      Beaumont, Tx., he bought a farm 7 Mi. West of Beoumont. He died of Typhoid
      fever in 1917. In 1968 the family had 3 Oil Wells come in on the Prater Farm.
