  Anne Arundel Co., Md. marriage record shows him married to Rosetta Gantt in 1856 but remarried to Janice K. Hardesty by 1860 with the children of Rosetta Gantt still living with him, thus we can only assume that Rosetta died before 1860. Then in the 1870 census he is shown at age 38 living with out a wife and Rosetta Gantts children, the oldest Laura S. Gantt 24 yrs., Thomas Gantt 21 yrs, and his son William F. Prather age 13. Then Wm. O. remarries again before 1882 to Eliza Henrietta ----?
