• Notes

  *There were severial members of the Ashby family that married into the Prather family in Hopkins Co., Ky. in the early 1800's. Thomas went with his sister Sarah and her husband to Ft. Harrod, There he met Anna Ashby, daughter of Capt. Stephen Ashby. Capt. Ashby had recieved a bounty land Grant for 4,000 acres in Hopkins Co., Ky. for his services in the Revolution. He died at Ft.Harrod before he could claim his lands. His heirs including Thomas & his wife moved to Hopkins Co., and est. Madisonville/1796
