  Sarah and her husband moved from Ft.Boonesborough to Ft. Harrod. Her husband was killed and beheaded by the Indians while he was guarding Big Springs. Sarah's brother Thomas Prather had moved with them to Ft.Harrod. Capt. Henry Prather and his wife Elizabeth Wilson was also living at Ft. Harrod during this same time. (Capt. Henry Prather was brother to Basil Henry Prather, Adjut. General at Ft. Nelson (near Louisville, Ky.) cousins of John Hunt Prather.
