  Homer joined the Navy in 1927 and had a 20 yr. career. Upon discharge in 1947 he worked briefly in Jersey City, N.F., coming home for a time upon the death of his father. Later he worked in Aberdeen, S.D. Homer died of Cancer in 1981.
