• Notes

  * Richard was said to be very much a "ladies man", Handsome and interesting in conversation. Also a great sport at hunting. He came to Ga. with his parents when he was only 4. In 1828 he moved to Harris Co., Ga. In 1840 he moved to Green Hill, Stewart Co., Ga. His Greatgrandson Richard Prather lives there today. (1992) He is a lawer. Richard Prather owned a plantation called "Change Bank" which was located in Stewart Co. between Louvale and Cuseta, Ga. on the Chattahoochee River.
