Notes - * William was last known taking a boat load of Mules down the Ohio River
with a distination of New Orleans, La. but this info. is not proven and is
considered family lore because his death is listed Houston, Adams Co., IL.
His widow remarried and Williams daughters are shown by bond to have
remained with their mother and step-father, George Hilburn, while Williams son
was listed as living with William H. Dowell as a laborer (at age 13).
In 1855 Williams son married the daughter of William Dowell.
