William Prater, Yoeman, of Sunton, Parish of Collingbourne Kingston, Wiltshire
Co., England. Will dated 15 Oct., 20 james I, 1621 and proved 17 jan., 1622/3.
(4 Swann) To be buried in church yarrd of Collingbourne Kingston. To Mary,
dau. of John Keake, the elder, of parish of Alcannings, Wilts. Co. L-10
(L -10 = 10 pounds sterling). To all children of John Beake, the younger of
Alcannings 20s each. To all children of Richard Prater of Everley,
Wiltshire Co. 20s each. To james Prater, son of Richard Prater of Salisbury,
Wiltshire Co., 40s. To Augustine Prater, son of aforesaid Richard Prater, 20s
and best cloak. To Christian, dau. of Andrew Brown of Sunton 10/ To William
Harding, son of John Harding of Aston, parish of collingbourne Kinston 10/ To
Edmunde Browne, son of thomas Browne of Wilton, of parish of Great Bedwyn,
Wilts. Co., 10/ To the rest of my godchildren, not mentioned in will 12d each.

bequeathed, debts paid, to wife Margery, she to be sole executrix. Overseers
