  Mariah was first married to Nathaniel Chandler who had died by Feb., 1833 she then married Jeremiah Prather. Her and Jeremiah moved from Fleming Co.,Ky to Daviess Co., Ind. around 1838. She had 7 children by Mr. Chandler: John, William, Nancy Ellen, Cecelia, Elizabeth, Nathaniel, and Hiram. All of these children were born in Fleming Co Ky. and all died in Daviess and Martin Co., Ind.
