      County.

      Robert was first married to Emily Tucker by William McKee justice of the
      peace Princeton, Bureau , Illinois

      One of Roberts last cases was a dispute by the Shawnee Indian Tribe in
      Kansas . He was retained by George Washington and other tribe members on a
      land dispute.

      Robert Dunbars obituary in the Kansas City Times reads as follows.

      The Death of R. R. Dunbar. His suits as Attorney Against Argentine
      Property Led to Trouble in 1895.

      Robert R. Dunbar 83 years old died Saturday night at his home, 3805
      Michigan Avenue. He had lived in Kansas City since 1861. Mr. Dunbar was
      born in Breckinridge county Kentucky. After he came to Kansas City he
      engaged in the practice of law. Three children survive. They are Mrs.
      Lizzie C. Meyers of Pueblo Colorado, George C. Dunbar and Mrs. May Pyburn
      of Kansas City.

      Dunbar brought suits attacking the rights of more than .... property
      owners in Argentine in 1895. The land in question had been sold by the
      Shawnee Indians in 18..0. Mr. Dunbar was retained by George Washington and
      other Shawnees in Indian territory, and bagan a fight that arrayed the
      whole town against him. The .... were entered in Washington where the
      present titles were finally transferred.

      In June 1904 Dunbar was ........ and ........ .. a .... in Argentine.

      Robert is confirmed as a brother of Washington in two newpaper articles. A
      1901 article showing him as a lawyer in Argentine Kansas. Also in the
      obituary for Washington Dunbar in the Oct.10 1907 Galva Standard it states
      Washington's brother Robert died in Kansas Oct. 10 1907.
