  Sallie and two of her sisters were abopted out in 1930 from the Texas Childrens Home and Aid Society (now Edna Gladney Center) in Ft.Worth, TX. The three brothers were not adopted out. These children were from Mr. Praters 2nd. marriage .... he had several children by his first wife. John L. Prater was listed living in Jonesboro, Ark. in 1900 census
