  !from him descended the Carews of Anthony in Cornwall.The author lists the four brothers on information given by a descendent of this Alexander,and then doesn't give his line.What I'm listing here I found elswhere so am not sure it fits right here.The last baronet of Anthony,Sir Coventry Carew left it to John Carew,Esq.a descendant of the Carews of Camert on and Crocombe in Somerset.John dying without heirs male,the manor devolved to Reginald Pole,the eldest son of Reginald Pole of Stoke Damarell,who had taken the name of Carew.The son is who gave the incomplete info.
