Gary
has made available a NEW BOOK of his research. This publication is another 2
volumes, but will be the family trees he has researched.....33 generations with
research notes...some updated. It starts with Eystein Adilsson, King of
Sweden, through Geoffrey d' Rye, to Thomas Prater who came to the US in 1622
and beyond. This release is limited to 33 generations to keep it to 2 volumes.
To create books like these for ALL generations in Gary's research would take
over 10 volumes and be prohibitive to produce and make affordable.
The
binding and size is....8.5 x 5.5", but much of the type-size is a little
larger for easier reading, by popular demand. His first book is a
collection of his research notes, alphabetically organized. This
new 2 vol book-set will show family trees in chronological order and
connections well back into England, France, and Sweden.
Some of the info is speculative, but will provide a great basis for extended
research.
Gary
decided to publish this information at this time rather than wait for more
in-depth research results because we never know when our health would make
future publishing prohibitive and we aren't getting any younger!!
Also,
Gary has asked Marty Prather to include a section about the PRATER DNA testing
and results to date. DNA testing is used as another tool to substantiate our
lineage used in conjunction with the other tools we have at hand. One result is
that for the select few who have submitted their Y results to YFULL.com,
the Prater "clan" was formed ~3500 years ago.
